Since 1996, Quintin King started working in the senior housing industry with direct experience in accounting, finance, and operations. He started his career with Holiday Retirement, the largest privately held senior housing companies at the time in North America where he played a key role in the re-implementation of back office accounting systems and processes. In 2000, Quintin joined one of the big six public accounting firms within their business consulting practice focusing on large and complex projects. In this capacity he specialized in strategic planning, system implementations, and process reengineering. 

As a dedicated and detailed-oriented accounting professional, Charlene Calder, has been meeting the accounting needs of public and private entities for the past 16 years. She currently works as the Director of Accounting for Brightwater Senior Living Group LLC and specializes in handling the finance department and construction accounting for both the US and Canadian entities. Charlene graduated from California State University, Eastbay formerly Hayward with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. Charlene enjoys camping, gardening and mountain bike riding with family and friends.

Teri Sherman graduated from Merritt Davis Business College with an Associate Degree in Business Accounting and has over 30 years of Financial & Human Resource experience. Her experience includes Senior Housing, Real Estate and 17 years with the Cable industry. When the cable company, BendBroadBand, sold 5 years ago, she did not want to move from Central Oregon and had the opportunity to join the Brightwater Team. Teri’s primary focuses are Operational Financials, Cash Management, Banking Relationships and Human Resources. She is a trustworthy resource to both the home office and the communities.

Kristina is a native Oregonian with a passion for outdoor activities ranging from soccer, skiing, mountain climbing in her youth to camping, hiking, and gardening today. Kristina's love for the outdoors led her to pursue a degree in Biology from Portland State University. Kristina was hired by OHSU's Dr. Kabat in the Department of Biochemistry researching viruses, leukemia, and HIV. The work was fascinating and contributed to the development of medicine to cure many diseases. Kristina is an upbeat, outgoing, people person who soon realized she would rather care for humans with the disease than find cures in a lab.

Kristina went to nursing school at Bethel College and found her true passion, caring for people. For the first ten years of her career, she worked on the Maternal Child Unit and helped women and their families bring babies into the world. It was an honor and privilege to be at the birth and hear the baby's first cry. Kristina realized that women have many choices in how to give birth and feed their babies. As a nurse it is very gratifying to educate patients on the options available to them and support them in the choices they made. It is rewarding to be an advocate for patients as they navigate their hospital stay to help them feel in control and empowered and to help them take charge of their health and wellness. Kristina encourages her patients and families to speak up and ask questions of their health care providers.

After ten years at the bedside, Kristina was promoted to Nurse Manager of Family Birth with 24/7 responsibility for the daily operations of budget, human resources management, patient satisfaction, and quality. She managed a team of 95 Caregivers: RNs, scrub techs, unit clerks, CNAs and environmental services. Kristina earned her MBA from George Fox University in 2019.

After 20 years in OB Kristina desired to expand her horizons beyond mother baby nursing and held roles in The Quality / Risk Management Departments. As Manager of Quality, she was The Joint Commission representative for the hospital overseeing regulatory and survey preparations ensuring successful inspections for the health systems. As a former scientist, Kristina loves data and sharing information to teams in a way that is meaningful and helps drive improvements. Kristina is an extroverted data enthusiast who makes facts and figures fun.

Kristina had her own children while working as an RN on the Maternal Child Unit; Seth now 28, (married to Rileigh), Emily 24 and Evan 22. Kristina wears many hats as Mom, Wife, RN, Daughter, Niece, Sister, Auntie and loves them all. She is very family focused and loves spending time with her adult children and extended family whenever possible. Kristina loves to cook for a crowd and feed the family. She volunteers at Drift Creek Camp as camp nurse every year combining her love of outdoors and nursing.

Elysa Brewster joined the Brightwater Accounting Team in January 2019. She brings over 20 years of experience in Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Human Resources with her. Before coming to Brightwater she worked for a technology company in Southern California as the Accounting and Human Resources Manager. Coming in when the company was very small, she was able to grow with it and gain experience in various accounting areas, including Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables. As the company grew she moved from that role to oversee the Payroll, Benefits, Human Resources, and Bookkeeping for the company. She brings that experience with her to Brightwater where her main focus will be assisting the Account Team with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Human Resources.

Cynthia Sincuir was born and raised in Southern California and received her Certificate in Human Resources from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Cynthia has 13 years of Human Resources and Payroll experience and is currently continuing her education in Human Resources.

Jason Myhre is a 1996 graduate of Oregon State University College of Business majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Pre-Law. Deciding not to further his interest in law, he began his career gaining invaluable marketing and sales experience working for Xerox and Coca-Cola. In 2001, he moved his family to Central Oregon to take a position with Loyal Publishing, a start-up publishing house. A year later that company was purchased by Multnomah Publishers, the 4th largest inspirational publishing house in the country, in which he was immediately integrated into a sales and marketing management role. In 2005, he was asked to be a part of a start-up division of Multnomah Publishers that specialized in emergent markets. In less than a year, his team developed a solid business success model only to be met with the eventual purchase of the company by Penguin Random House. Not wanting to move with the purchase, he elected to keep his family in Central Oregon and joined Pahlisch Homes, one of the largest privately held residential construction companies in the Northwest. Over the next 12 years, he worked closely with the ownership team overseeing sales and marketing throughout the planning and implementation of business development strategies. His initiatives and insights were significant in helping Pahlisch Homes through the recession and to grow their brand strength in the industry. His next venture was soliciting and gaining support from the Pahlisch Homes board to create a customer experience company initiative that would position them as an early adopter in the building industry. This initiative mapped out and created synergy for the complete journey of a customer’s interaction with their brand. A year into the initiative he was able to break down company silos and implement programs that improved sales processes, customer care and customer service.

David Limburg brings years of food & beverage experience and knowledge to the leadership team at Brightwater. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, David’s background spans independent restaurants, senior living, private clubs, and high-end resorts. David has held the following positions in the resort and food & beverage industry including Director of Food & Beverage, Membership Manager, Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Sous, Chef, Service Director, Special Events Coordinator, and Restaurant Manager. He has experience in both the front and back of the house, but his passion lies in building teams, providing excellent service, and creating memorable experiences for guests and staff members.

Joel Sauter joined BrightWater in July 2019, adding 20 years of construction experience to the team. With a diverse background ranging from historically building restoration to large scale commercial project management, Joel’s primary focus at BrightWater will be to coordinate and oversee property maintenance operations as well as assisting in various construction and development tasks.

Making her start in Wine Country in Northern California, Anna Harsh, has more than a decade of payroll and accounts payable experience in both small and large businesses. She and her family moved to Central Oregon in 2018 to be closer to family and enjoy a slower pace. She enjoys balancing her work life being a football mom and spending time near the water.

Prior to joining Brightwater, Jasmine was with Integral Senior Living (ISL) for over twelve years. Throughout her career at Integral Senior Living (ISL), she held a variety of positions, including Consultant, Senior Executive Director, Executive Director, Director of Sales and Marketing, Junior Financial Analyst, and Corporate Services Coordinator. Jasmine possess her RCFE Administrator Certificate, has a bachelor’s in healthcare administration and management and is currently pursuing her MBA in social impact with a focus on sustainability. Jasmine lives in Southern California and in her free time she is a regular at Orange Theory Fitness and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Mark Harper spent his formidable years in Bend, graduating from Mountain View High School, before starting his career in first Banking, then Information Technology in Eastern Oregon. Now after becoming affluent in customer service, technology service management, and health care, he joined the Brightwater team in 2022 back in his hometown raising his two daughters and enjoying all central Oregon has to offer years later.

Brooke grew up in Washington State and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages (TESL) in 2008. She spent 10 years living in San Diego, where she was a substitute teacher, received a certificate in Supply Chain Management, spent many years in customer service roles, and started her own businesses working with small businesses and vacation rentals in areas of accounting/bookkeeping, marketing, logistics, website and branding design, and administration. Brooke spends as much time as she can outdoors – mountain biking, hiking, and skiing, loves learning and growth, and has been enjoying all Central Oregon has to offer since moving in June of 2022! She hopes to bring her experiences and growth mindset together to work alongside Brightwater to develop as a pieces to one puzzle.

Kaeleen joins our team with over 20 plus years of experience in bookkeeping. From managing commercial construction loans all over the US to Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable for simi-private golf club and spa here in Central Oregon, to owning a residential construction company on the Oregon coast. Kaeleen is a native Oregonian and loves Central Oregon. In her spare time, she loves to Jeep in the foothill of the beautiful Cascade Mountain range and spending time with her beautiful family and friends.
